What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Some are needed for the site to work; others are used to measure how it is used.
Cookies this site uses
This site only uses analytics cookies, the Google Analytics 4 ones. It does not use advertising or social media cookies, and there are no first-party technical cookies because the site has no sign-up or sessions.
Analytics cookies are only set if you press Accept in the cookie notice. If you press Reject or do not choose anything, no analytics cookie is stored and the site works exactly the same.

The tools' local storage
Besides your cookie choice, some tools save your own notes in the browser's local storage (localStorage): the doctor-visit checklist (saciedad:checklist-consulta:v1), the symptom diary (saciedad:diario-sintomas:v1) and the hydration calculator (saciedad:hidratacion:v1). They are not tracking cookies: they only let the tool remember what you wrote, and they never leave your device or reach saciedad.com. The weekly menu does not save anything: its settings go in the page address.
To check whether your browser allows saving data, these tools write and immediately delete a test key (__saciedad_probe__) that holds nothing of yours and is not kept.
To delete them, use each tool's "Delete" button or clear this site's data in your browser settings (the links below explain how).
What happens if you do not accept
We use Google's consent mode (Consent Mode v2). Until you accept, Google Analytics works without cookies: the browser sends cookieless pings with no identifiers, only with the page visited, the time and basic technical data about the browser. Google uses them in aggregate to estimate how many visits the site gets, without being able to recognize you from one page to the next or between visits. Advertising permissions (storage and data for ads and personalization) are always denied, whether you accept or not.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind whenever you like. When you withdraw your consent, we delete any analytics cookies in your browser.
